AI dost means an AI friend. You type, it replies. You can write in Hindi, in English, or mix both — “aaj ka din theek nahi tha” works just as well as “my day was rough”. No form to fill, no long setup.
Kaise kaam karta hai
You send a message. The app sends it to an AI model. The reply comes back in a second or two. Same thing for a voice note: you speak, it listens, it writes back or talks back. That is the whole loop.
It is software, not a person. Nobody is sitting and reading your chat. The reply is generated, so it can be wrong, miss the point, or forget something you said.
Kya kar sakti hai
- Baat. Day, mood, plan, a small story — type it and get a reply.
- Hindi, English, Hinglish. Write how you type. No need for correct spelling.

- Photo. Send one, get a reply on it.
- Yaad. Old chats stay saved, so you do not start from zero every time.
Kya nahi kar sakti
- She is not a real person and not a girlfriend or boyfriend.
- She is not a doctor or a therapist. For real help, talk to a real professional.
- She cannot call you on the phone. Voice notes only — recorded, not a live call.
- She can be wrong. Do not trust her for a date, a number or anything important.
- Free nahi hai. A paid membership is needed to chat.
AI dost, AI friend, AI companion — same thing?
Mostly yes. “AI dost” is the Hindi way of saying it. “AI friend” is the English way. “AI companion” is the wider word people use for any app with an ongoing chat. Naina is all three, and she is platonic — dosti, not romance.
