Child Safety Standards
Naina is an AI companion provided by Scalix Studio. These standards apply to content submitted to or generated through Naina, including text, images, and voice content. A child means anyone under 18. Naina's minimum user age of 16 does not reduce these protections.
1. Prohibited content and conduct
Naina prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This includes sexual content involving anyone under 18, grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and requests to create, obtain, or distribute such material. The prohibition includes AI-generated or manipulated content and attempts to bypass safety controls.
2. Reporting a concern
Use the Report control on an AI response in Naina, select the relevant reason, and describe the concern without adding unnecessary personal information. Reports may cover text, voice, or image responses. For concerns that cannot be reported using that control, contact our child-safety contact below. Do not send, forward, or attach suspected illegal imagery. If a child faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
3. Responding to reports
Our designated safety contact reviews child-safety reports and coordinates an appropriate response. When we become aware of CSAM or other child exploitation on our service, we take action to remove or restrict access to prohibited content and take appropriate action on associated accounts. We handle relevant records securely and restrict access to authorized personnel in accordance with applicable requirements.
4. Escalation and reporting
We report confirmed CSAM and other reportable child exploitation to the relevant regional or national authorities as required by applicable law, and cooperate with lawful requests. Our designated contact maintains the escalation procedure and coordinates required reports. An in-app report is not an emergency-service report.
